About Childs’ Play: 

Hi! We’d like to introduce ourselves. We are Jeremy & Vanessa Childs, the creators and owners of Childs’ Play. Childs’ Play was conceived about six years ago when our first child was born. Almost immediately after becoming parents, we became aware that there weren’t enough places that a family could go and all have a good time.

Children need to have fun, run around and explore their world. Being in Las Vegas, this can be hard to do in 110-degree weather. So, as parents, we are always looking for great indoor activities that allow our kids to be kids. We want to know that this is being done in a safe, clean environment. But, we also want the kids to have all this fun while we are enjoying ourselves, as well. Add all this up and it can be a pretty tall order.

It always seemed like a great idea to have “a children’s place with parents in mind.” We kept talking about how great it would be if someone did something for kids and their parents. And, maybe they could add the convenience of other services, such as kids’ haircuts, photography and classes for the whole family. Well, in 2009, after talking about it for six years, we’ve decided that that “someone” is us.

We have created a great space for children with a twist. Parents can come in and enjoy the sounds and the colors, a cup of coffee, an adult conversation, maybe even check emails or catch the score of the game without all the loud bells and whistles of a traditional children’s play area. We hope that you enjoy our all-in-one family play space as much as we enjoy bringing it to you and yours.
