We currently have four ballet classes being offer by Ms. Lilly Alhadeff-Etzman in the Northwest.  Ms. Lilly is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa where she has many years of experience as both a dancer and a teacher.  She has taught ballet, creative dance and contemporary and is proficient in both the RAD and Cecchetti methods of ballet.  She has much experience working with young children both abroad and locally and has recently designed her own creative dance and kinderballet programs which she currently teacher at the “Adelson Educational Campus” in Las Vegas.

We are happy to offer:

Mommy & Me Ballet (Baby Ballerinaz)  18-36 months old
NW Thursdays at 10am ($55/6 weeks)

Mommies (and Daddies) and their baby ballerinas will twirl and explore ballet with tutus, tiaras, sparkling wands, imagery, musical instruments & props.  We teach basic toddler ballet, by engaging and inspiring our little dancers’ imaginations and creativity with enchanting, magical-themed stories.  The class focus is on movement, coordination, balance, rhythm, and stretching.  Appropriate attire is leotard, tights and ballet shoes.  This sessions theme is “Princess Sofia”

Pre-Ballet (Pixzyz & Fairyz) 3-5 years old
NW Mondays at 4pm ($65/6 weeks)

This class has consistent structure and outline.  The students are guided age-appropriately into the world of ballet.  Elementary ballet vocabulary/French terminology is taught. Lessons are also designed to strengthen coordination, develop poise, balance and flexibility and encourage a relationship to music.  Props, magical wands, tutus, tiaras and enchanting stories are used to inspire encourage a love of dance.  We also add a development magical make-believe theme/component, to engage the students by tapping into their creativity, allowing them to explore and stimulate their imagination in a very structured way. Princes and Pirates are very welcome in our classes, too.  Appropriate attire is a leotard, tights and ballet shoes.

Combo Ballet/Tap (Teeny Tippy Tapperz  (2-3 years old)
NW Saturdays at 10am ($55/6 weeks)

Teenzy Tapperz will learn the fundamentals of dance and will love this interactive combo ballet/tap and creative movement class.  Ballet will develop poise, balance, and confidence.  Tap concentrates on rhythm and is combined with across the floor progressions.  We also use scarves, ribbon wands, bean bags, and hula hoops to create a fun element and explore their imagination and creativity. Appropriate attire is leotard, tights, ballet and tap shoes

Pre Ballet I (Preppies) 5-7 years old
NW Saturdays at 11am ($65/6 weeks)

This program is a continuation of Pre Ballet, developing the basics of classical ballet.  It begins to focus more on proper placement, posture, a more extensive ballet vocabulary and beginning technique whilst still engaging the students by using some fun props and themes which have been specially selected for this age group, and takes the students on a magical imaginative journey, thereby promoting creativity, whilst developing coordination, balance, and core strength.  Appropriate attire is leotard, tights and ballet shoes.
